What to expect when you visit?
A warm welcome from our volunteers! Whether it is your first time visiting or your seventh time visiting us we will welcome you warmly.
We will collect some details from you (name, address, and the number of people in your household) to help us prepare your relief package scaled to your needs and household size.
Once we have got the paperwork out of the way, we will bring you your food and hygiene package.
What can you expect to receive?
The public can freely walk into any one of our network hub locations in the borough and receive a free 5-day emergency food package. All parcels have a variety of meals and cover five days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then some, plus household toiletries are included in the boxes. Boxes range in size dependent on numbers.

Tuesday betwen 5:30-7:30PM
Friday betwen 5:30-7:30PM
Where are you located?
We are located in Grays and are based in the Beehive Resource Centre, West Street, Grays, RM17 6XP.
Nearest train station and bus stop is Grays.
On site free parking is available.
What can you do to help the process?
Bring your shopping bags or trolley. (At least two!)
If you’re unsure or ever in doubt about visiting a food and hygiene bank, give us a call on 01375 874000 for more infomation.
Be honest with us and disclose if you have any allergies, intolerances, or religious observations you’d like us to account for. We can provide Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Halal and Kosher meals. (Kosher and Halal food require one day’s notice)

Visits
We kindly ask that you observe a two-week grace period before returning to our service.
Behaviour
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, disrespect, or insults directed at our staff. To ensure the safety and well-being of our volunteers, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not adhere to these guidelines.
Deliveries/Collections
All emergency food provisions must be collected in person from our offices or designated pop-up hubs. To ensure fairness and accountability, we do not permit proxy collections.
Please note that we do not offer a delivery service for service users; all emergency relief must be collected by the individual in need.
